Chai Finch Latte is part of my ‘Barista Birds’ painting series. I belong to a group of artists called Art6. Each month we set a theme to inspire us and I painted this picture in response to a theme of ‘Hygge’. Hygge is a danish word which means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. I fancied that this little chaffinch needed a warming drink of chai latte during the winter months
