Passion Fruit – Passion Flowers is part of my botanical painting series. Passion fruit – this painting was inspired by a visit to Helmsley Walled Garden in Yorkshire. There was harvest inspiration everywhere in the garden, apples, plums, vegetables but these Passion Fruit really caught my eye. Surely this plant displays one of the most spectacular flower/fruit combinations of all. The long flowering season means you get flowers at the same time as fruit too.
