Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Life Landscape Painter of the Year 2017
Massive thanks to the lovely people at Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Life MagazineĀ for making me their Landscape Painter of the Year 2017 for my painting ‘View Across the Thames from Cliveden II’. The breathtaking view from the woods at Cliveden across the Thames with its famous eyots has to be my favourite view in Berkshire and has been the subject of several previous paintings (and I suspect will be the subject of many more!). Technically I suppose the view is from Buckinghamshire into Berkshire which made it even more appropriate for the competition š Thanks to Jan Raycroft at Berkshire Life for the brilliant write up she did for the April Issue of the magazine (please see below).
Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Life is a wonderful source of information especially for beautiful walks in the area. I’m hoping to use these to provide inspiration for future paintings.
